A set of ten black and white photographs by Vietnamese artists has
claimed the silver medal in the 32nd International Federation of
Photographic Art (FIAP) Black and White Biennial in Turkey.
Preparations are being finalised for the biennial
Hue Festival which will officially open in less than two months. With
the theme ‘Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development'', the
nine-day event is expected to attract a record number of foreign
troupes.

Conceptualist Danh Vo is the only Vietnamese artist invited to display
artworks at the 55th International Art Exhibition of the Venice
Biennial, one among biggest art events in Europe.
More than 20,000 locals and tourists flocked to the April 2 Square by
Nha Trang beach, Khanh Hoa Province, on Saturday to attend the opening
ceremony of the biennial Sea Festival.
